    Worst Trade you ever made

    I remember that trade strangely enough. My worst trade was probably on here. Traded a Mark Prior Sweet Spot auto and a couple other cards for a Mantle variant/99(I think origins red). At the time it was a horrible trade, I ended up trading the Mantle for about $40 in Griffeys.

    Box purchase advice

    This was a fun set to open boxes for. I was buying them for $35 or so a box on Blowout and Charm and remember them jumping to $70 or something like that when I stopped buying cards. Wow on second thought I don't think I've been on here in a long time.

    Ignorance is bliss right? Because you don't know makes it ok to be like that towards someone? I was on the Beckett board when I was 11 yrs old, a great trader and probably knew little about cards but still got deals done. Of course from help from other traders letting me know what was going on...

    I would think you should have at least put legitimate BV's next to his cards, and then explain the damage. Seems like you are actually being more cruel then helpful. What if this is a 12 yr old kid who just collects for fun? Is this how Bench members act off the Bench all the time?

    2006 Topps RC foil?

    I found some 2006 Topps, I got a couple of the same cards except that the RC is foil on some and the normal color on the other. Whats the difference on these?

    Agreed, Good job on not budging on what you thought the card is worth, you didn't get caught up in the hype of the setting. Eventually one may come down from $100 otherwise you might be SOL.

    I redeemed one and got :Team Leaders Card 1987 Team Leaders Card - - Philadelphia Phillies Card Number:481 Series: Topps Series 1 I had to laugh. I wouldn't want anyone wasting money to ship me this card.

    MLB and Upper Deck settle.

    I also miss Donruss, for some reason I really liked the 2005 DK set. I'm glad I still have options in all other sports. I tend to only buy UD products because they seem to carry the best hits, even with redemptions. Plus the cards have always looked better.

    I'd be happier is they were killing certain people. The whole concept is that they are screwing kids potentially out of a once in a lifetime pull by doing this even if it is a $2 AAA Cather GU, maybe that is their favorite player?     I can mail things out on federal holidays, granted I'm not that trader. My PO has the automated machine that I can buy postage on. No it won't be sorted until Tuesday, however I can mail on the holiday. TJ- I'm more confused to the point of your post then any other in here.
