Vintage football makes me happy.
BTW I'm glad to see Roberto Alomar getting some respect! I should have mentioned him as well as IRod as undervalued cards in a recent topic here on The Bench in addition to Mariano Rivera.
The man responsible for the play that made me a lifelong Vikings fan. Squadron Right hail Mary from Tommy Kramer in the closing seconds of a December 1980 game against the Browns. Put MN in the playoffs and capped an incredible 4th quarter comeback. 
I traded my Henderson RC for a Strawberry and Gooden in 84.. It's always haunted me to this day and I still have not got around to getting a replacement.

I was fortunate enough to trade for this when I was still in high school in the late 80’s. Can’t remember what I gave for it.
Funny about trading away (or for) Henderson RCs. The guy I got the 1992 Bowman set from.........you'll remember the one with 5 cards in top loaders none of which was Mariano Rivera's RC......reminded me that I traded a beautiful Henderson RC for it which he still has! So nearly 30 years later we both still own the cards we traded for in that transaction. In retrospect it looks like we both made out well.
Not a hockey collector but received this one from a member here a few years ago as an extra in a trade...

This post of the California Golden Seal got my curiousity going. What ever happened to the Golden Seals? Turns out they movd to Cleveland and then became the Barons who were later merged into the Minnesota North Stars. I think this franchise was the last major league organization to become defunct.
In the last year or two I have become interested in older hockey since you don't see it all that often. I'm not a hockey fan but even the cards from the mid 80s intrigue me. And the odd thing is I can name a lot of players from the 70s and 80s but can only name 2 or 3 that play now!!
