Can you ID this Signature

This signature is on a Draper Maynard DG923 Leather Baseball glove from the 50's. The first name "Jim" is very clear but I can not make out the first part of his last name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jim Nelson was a baseball player in the 1970's ....played for the pirates. Best regards, David

I believe the last five letters are "alson" - it's the first one of two letters are the ones in question.

Based on his facsimile signature on various baseball cards like the one below, the years that he played, and how his signature varied over the years, it appears it might be Jim Wilson of the Braves, Orioles, White Sox.
