I have 5 6 15 65 80 82 126 150 165 166 168 182 200 271 380 385 398 and can send scans. I am working on a 1953 set and a 1975 Hostess set. Cubs I need include the 1983 TCMA 1942 Play Ball 41 - 1943 Play Ball 36 37 1944 Play Ball 33 34 and 1945 Play Ball 24 25. Some Bears I need are the 1969 4 on 1 and 1972 Topps 320 341.

I am also a Bear and Packer (for my grandson :>{) collector. This has been the problem with me trading recently. I have most Topps Cubs from 1950 to about 2002 and lots of smattering after that. I also like Cub odd ball stuff and have picked up a lot of that also. I have been trading vintage for the modern just to reduce the amount of pre 1980 cards I have but, again, the problem is I know what I have in modern but not what I need, if that makes sense. I also don't sell as the dollar amount usually isn't that much. I would like to get these to you so would be open to suggestions. Jim

How would you grade the overall condition and what would be the trade value on the lot. I can see what I have for the Bears and packers to match up against the Trade value you come up with.

I do not have a clue on BV as I normally don't worry about it when trading unless something seems really out of order then I go to Sportlots to see what I could buy a comparable card for. This is also one reason why I always hesitate to trade vintage for modern is the modern card values are high today but in a few years drop drastically. Let me check and get back to you. Thanks. Jim

I looked at my vintage beckett price guide and came up with $85 in trade value for the 69's. That is based on near mint condition. So lmk what you think the overall grade is and we can go from there. thx Jim

Well, Jim, here is the situation - I have all the Bears except for Fields. I looked at (the dreaded word) eBay and could get the 21 Donruss Portrait for less than $5. I also do not need another Lofton since I have a couple in his album already. I am not crazy about the Rodgers, but again, I could get one off eBay, Graded PSA 8, for less than $25. This is one reason why I don't like to use guides for book value and use Sportlots to see what I could buy one for. Conversely I used it to get a rough value of the 69's and came up with around $129 using E as the grade. I am not trying to be a jerk and I want to get you these cards because I am at the end of my trading days.

I am interested in the 1964 Topps Lou Brock. What condiiton and trave value? I will see what I have from want list.

Using the Brock as trade bait,corners are nice, no creases, I would guess exmt+ $100 TV

Although I hate to sell I would like to get these in the hands of someone who needs them so go ahead and post a trade using what you think is reasonable and we can go from there. I have had these for many years. Jim
