Hi Ron - Everything sounds good so far. You also mentioned above that you had a box of extra '76 cards, right? I'm more than willing to trade more of the lower number (below 600) '71 cards I've listed above one-for-one for any of the '76 cards you have on my list. Sound good?

Also, thanks for the tip on the Boots Day. I wasn't aware of that. I checked, and I also have the one with the stadium light.

hi Jerry - I don’t chase error cards but I enjoy learning about them. Like players posing the wrong way they bat or leaving their fly open.
I have a lot of your ‘76 needs. I can probably hit more than half but only got thru about half the box. I wouldn’t expect you to send high numbered SPs. I’ll have to try to hunt them down at local shows. Yesterday I bought over 250 nice ‘70-‘75 commons but most were dups for trading, so I still need a lot of help with those sets.

ok let me put together a trade based on all that we've posted so far. Then look it over and if you agree we can post and mail.
Thanks Ron

Ok, Ron. That sounds great. Take your time. No rush. I'll hold all the cards I've listed for you.

I've never seen any cards with a player's fly open. That's pretty funny! lol

Jerry - This is what I have for our trade. Please check it and let me know if this works. The good news is I have more that you need and can help you with your '76 Topps set because the local card shop also has a whole bunch of them that I can fill in the missing ones with.

Jerry - check out Claude Raymond who I think pitched for the Expos. Crazy thing is I think he did it twice but I don’t remember what years. Maybe ‘66 and ‘67 Topps? Another one I remember is Gene Freese who played for the Pirates and a few other teams. He batted right handed but posed lefty on I think ‘65 and probably a few other years.

Hey Ron, everything looks good. It will be a nice stack for both of us. Thanks for putting it together.

Jerry - no problem and no rush. Let me know when you are ready and I’ll post it. Also I plan to go back to that card store and pick up more of your ‘76 Topps before someone grabs them. I looked at the big box of ‘76-‘78 commons and they looked to be in nice condition. At least VG+ or better but no big stars.

Hi Ron - you can go ahead and post. Also, that would be awesome if you could pick up some more of the '76 Topps for me! I actually have a lot more '71 cards which are on your list, but they are in slightly less condition. I picked the best of the '71 extras I have for our trade. I wanted to send these first for you to get a look. Perhaps if your satisfied with their condition, we can discuss trading the '76 cards you pick up for me for the others.

Hi Greg - I'll check into your lists. I'm sure I can help on a least a few. I'll get back to you shortly. Thanks. Jerry

Greg, I have 1971 #115 & 335. See attached pics. Also, you didn't list any specific numbers for 78 thru 80. Does this mean you don't need any from those years? Thanks, Jerry

I don't have many cards from the 80's or more recent, but I will give it a check. It may take me a few days as I don't have much organization of those years. I'm sure Ron could help you out much more with the Mets. Have you any interest in the Clendenon and Koosman I posted?
