To do or not to do, that is the argument.......I have 117 of 350, so roughly a third of the set.......The ones I have are Mike Trout, Kate Upton, Derek Jeter, and a couple of other HOF'ers........Without the Trout, I probably wouldn't do it..........Please VOTE + ENJOY!

Mike -

Freewebs going away took out my mini want/trade lists, but I have a “few” minis, when you start. A lot of my A&G mini sets are mixed back or border, may make it a bit easier…

My vote is always to finish it! I have a bunch of sets that are getting close to being wrapped up - always a nice feeling to find the last card and than pack it up and move on to the next one.

I don't know much about this set but it sounds like you have the major cards with the Trout and some others If that is the case, then I vote to finish it.

I never try to complete a decent set unless I have the major cards. Too many times collectors try to omplete sets when they don't have the biggest cards and sure enough, they end up needing just the major cards which no one is going to trade to them. How many want lists have we seen like a 1968 Topps where the set builder is down to just a few cards and card #177 is one of them? SAme with the Gretzky RC for 1979-80 Topps. Without those major cards, building those sets is an excersise in futility unless you are willing to speend a lot of money.

Personally, to me, that is part of the fun of it. You know that white whale is out there - have to figure out how to acquire it. I am working on 2017 Holiday, the big one there will be the Cole Hamels SP. I also know that I will have some big cards to find building 69-70-71-72 topps baseball set, I am stashing away modern cards that I have been pulling to trade/sell off to make those acquisitions.

I remember that Cole Hamel SP.......That card made me never buy the Walmart stuff again.......
