Baseball card question
I think that it all depends on the numbering. If the base set contains numbers 1-300, for example, and the cards fall in that range, then they are a subset. But if they have their own numbering system, then they are an insert set. I'm sure there is some grey area, but that's how I would define it.- cletus_83

Did I ever say that pack pulled auto and IP autos look the same? How's this and this and this for comparison. Maybe he's posting a number to add credibility, thinking that most people will figure "who would post their phone number if they are selling fake stuff?" Then, if someone calls, he can just say "I bought it from a guy who bought it from another guy." I'm guessing that you're trying to trick...- cletus_83

Wow... there sure are a lot of apologists for this guy. I feel sorry for your autograph collections if you can't see that these are fake. These were all signed within the past 2-3 years, as opposed to an early Jeter signature, and on one of his auctions, two players weren't even on the team at...- cletus_83

Player Collection Question
I would keep it in mine. It's really up to the individual. Some people even collect cards of other players if their player is featured on it (e.g. being tagged out). As far as keeping track of how many of their cards you have, though, I wouldn't include it because it's listed as a TC and the...- cletus_83

Sweet Spot Auto Fading?
Does this mean that sticker autos might actually be the way to go as opposed to on-card autos? Cardboard seems like it would absorb ink more than a plastic-based sticker.- cletus_83

why do ebay buyers do this to sellers?
I think you will see less of this now that eBay will be taking a cut of your shipping as well... a lot of people probably did this to get around some of the eBay final value fees, but if the final value fee will now include shipping, what's the point of trying to make money on the shipping?- cletus_83

Another guy making his own 1/1 cards on Ebay
Has anybody reported this guy to eBay? I try to report it whenever I see an obvious fake... sometimes it feels like eBay doesn't care because I have seen the same guy continue to sell the same thing even after I've reported him several times, but hopefully if enough people report fakes they will...- cletus_83

Review 09 Topps Magic Football
I like this set... although that may be because the only football cards I collect are of players in Texas unis :) Any Longhorns stuff? -
Topps has MLB Exclusive for 2010?
