    My Trading Board Pet Peeve

While it's not a huge pet peeve of mine, I do think the responsibility should be on the seller to state the asking prices. If someone then wants to make a counter-offer, they can.

    Topps Million Card Giveaway

I pulled 1 each from 2 Topps Cereal boxes and redeemed them both. I got a 59 Al Smith ($8) and a 66 Bob Locker ($5). Nothing huge, but not bad for free cards. I haven't had them sent, though, so who knows what kind of condition they'll show up in. From what I've seen, though, it's definitely...

Anybody notice how much 2010 Topps Series I boxes are going for?

I think its more a matter of supply and demand, as opposed to Topps being the sole provider of licensed cards. As Myerburg said, people are after the chase cards, including the million card giveaway. Same thing happened with the 08 UD Baseball Heroes boxes. Once the supply started drying up...

    Emailing UD customer service?

A few years ago I bought a few lower-end cases that were missing hits, and after many e-mails was asked for a physical address for a Fed-Ex package. They ended up sending me 3 tins of 06-07 SP Signature Edition basketball! This was my last positive experience with UD customer service. Since...

    One card pack, $149.95

If you've seen the breaks, they are rather unimpressive, as well.

    Help with this card brand!

I would guess it is part of the 1987 Star Mattingly Blank Back 6-Card Set. Here's a link to it on Beckett. Each of the 6 cards book for 50 cents. Hope this helps. Jeremy

    1993 Pinnacle Joe DiMaggio Auto

Dave & Adam's Card World (which is the eBay seller) has had several of these sets available for quite a while and they have been dropping in price from $200 a year ago to now $123 on eBay or $115 to their Premier members on their website. There are also several of just the autograph cards on...

Anyone see this? 2010 Topps Abe Lincoln Variation

This is absolutely ridiculous! Why is anyone buying these and the dozens and dozens of variations in the 2010 UD base set?

Anyone else sick and tired of the B/S from BECKETT.COM?

As someone who sells thousands of cards on my site, I use the OPG at Beckett 20+ hours a week. It is relatively easy to use once you learn the shortcuts. If you're looking for 2009 Topps Baseball, simply type that into the search box, then click on "Set" at the top. You'll then have a list of...

Have you guys been redeeming your Topps Million Card Giveaway codes?

The condition of the vintage cards is the big question. No one is going to know for sure until they receive the actual card in hand. As for the cards, they are all original cards, not reprints and will not be marked in any way as buybacks or part of the giveaway, according the Topps website.

    Do You Like Manufactured Patches?

I can't stand the manufactured Letter patches, autographed or not, and am not crazy about the hat logos from this year's top. I also don't like it when they are considered a "hit" in higher-end products. I do like the All-Star game and World Series patches, though.

    Pujols...is this real?

I'm with you, but would contact Topps with a link to the auction and see if by some miracle they might be able to help. I know it's a long-shot, since both Topps and UD don't seem to give a damn about anything other than their most current releases.

    Beckett = slow :(

You can't expect them to have prices for new products until they've been on the market for a month or so. The prices are based on reported sale and asking prices from lcs owners, and supposedly eBay sales (although I doubt it). I can also understand their checklists not being completely...

    Topps Million Card Giveaway

I agree. While I am not a fan of Topps and their customer service, I think it's a great promotion. It doesn't influence my decision on whether or not to buy 2010 Topps packs/boxes, but it is an interesting chase product if I do buy any packs/boxes. Anyone who complains about the promotion...

    Topps Million Card Giveaway

With it running so slowly, why not just wait a few days and do it then? You're still going to get the same card for your code. It's obvious that Topps' planning for the launch of this site is as good as its customer service - abysmal. I love the fact that they waited to launch it on a holiday...

    Topps Million Card Giveaway

The second chance giveaway is for a 52 Mantle. If you go to Blowout Cards web page they have a 2-minute promo video from Topps all about the Million Card Giveaway.

Time to sell? - 2009 Ultimate Baseball Sealed Case

I would sell it now. As the lawsuit disappears from the headlines (it'll be a while before a ruling), I think the product will cool off. Also, as Steph mentioned, the singles are leveling off. This is going to deter the people looking to bust the case to sell the singles. A $300-$400 profit...

2009 (aka 2010) Ultimate Collection is live!

Here's the article on Beckett's site which talks about MLB preparing a lawsuit against UD for using the logos in their pictures. http://beta.beckett.com/group/185223/?tab=tabArticles&p=967005#ViewArticle

Anyone have advice about UD Redemptions?

According to Blowout Cards, the two sides reached a settlement this morning and the jury has been let go. The settlement is private, though, so the amount is not being released to the public. I'm sure some "source" will soon release the amount of the final settlement. The good news (at least...

    1990 Pro Set Football

If you go onto Beckett's website you can view the checklists for both of these sets, which include all of the errors. It's free to view the checklists. Also, I have tons of the 1990 Pro Set cards that if you're interested in I'll be happy to send you for the cost of the postage. Jeremy
