    How do you trade? BV or SV?

    My general rule of thumb is sell hot stuff, trade steady stuff. It's up to you to decide what works, but when a prospect is hot, BV doesn't keep up, so it's always easier for me to take the money and buy similar BV, lower cash price items and keep the rest

    I agree, this isn't something that would fly long in small town areas. Even the bigger markets, I imagine a guy doing this is doing it as a 'supplementary' scam, likely having multiple other income streams. Buy a few boxes scattered about, take a chance, if you get a hit, sell, if you don't...

    I disagree with the "it's unlikely an individual would go this route". It's a $200-300 setup, and if they play it right, it's nearly a no lose situation that pretty much sets them up for free cards

    What CASE break would you like?

    I'm not sure how feasible this is, or what availability is, but I've always wanted to do a case break of older stuff that was just fun to break. 1996-98 Leaf or Donruss, 2004-2006 Sweet Spot, etc. Stuff with decent inserts that isn't a grand slam or strike out end result. I pick up boxes here...

    Best bet is to just find some of the bigger dealers in your area and contact them. Most will want to look at the cards, since most dealers I've talked to hear all sorts of tales about what is and isn't there, and condition is always highly subjective.
