Post a pic of random sports or non-sport memorabilia you own thread

Thanks. There was a guy who had sold me his digital camera that took floppy disks to hold the images and I had taken it to a game the year before and got a nice shot of Richie Sexson. I had even went through the trouble of contacting MLB and trying to get a license. They told me that they had...

Went to the Twins v Brewers game on Father's Day in 2004. At the Time I was obsessed with taking pictures at games and got this nice picture of Brewers two way player Brooks Kieschnick. A couple years later I sent it to a signing to get it for my auto collection. Would love to get Twins catcher...

football set builders don't exist, why?

I feel, as pretty much a lifelong collector, the way the hobby changed is insane to me. Started in 1980 with baseball in the summer, and switching to football and hockey in fall. Never really saw much basketball but then again was only 7 at the time so, 1984 seemed to be the year things...

I really didn't know much of him either. I do remember seeing an article in the late 80s or so about having to sell his mvp trophy. It's too bad he couldn't have become a scout or something.

    Shout out to the Cubs

It was cool to when I moved to Milwaukee in the early 2000s, that during my late night commute, that I could tune in WCCO, in Minneapolis after 11pm so the nights I worked and the Twins were on the west coast I could listen to the games for a half hour or so. Sadly though I also listened to...

    Shout out to the Cubs

oh, yes. It drives my wife nuts, because she cannot follow the action listening to it on the radio, however, I find it relaxing because you don't have to be tied to the tv, and now that play by play is included on the lowest XM radio subscription i get the option to listen to any game i want to...

When my wife was in California in college she was a nanny for a family who was good friends with Ronnie Lott, their girls were in the same dance class, and even though he was a badass on the field, off the field she said he was one of the nicest people she'd met.

I wonder if part of that is because after about 1984 most collectors, myself included, stopped playing games with their cards i.e. flipping, bicycle spokes, building card houses and destroying them by throwing star wars figures at them pretending to be in a battle zone... so the "newer"...
