    so obviously a hall of famer - ridiculous it took him so long to get in. he led the 1950's decade in HR. he was an RBI machine, 7 years in a row over 100. 8x all-star. 7x to the world series with 2 championships. i think it was that he fell short of 2000 hits that hurt him - but he also lost 2...

    I got an in-person auto on his '59 card when he was the head coach of the Niners. I'm guessing I was 12 or 13 at the time.
