You would think that, but it's not always true. With Ted Lilly and Mark DeRosa (2 guys that don't have a very large hobby presence), I regularly run into bidders we will run up the price of their cards. Unless it is some Quad A guy that has 12 at bats or an inning pitched in the majors, you...
What do you use then, smoke signals? Telepathy?
I keep hearing everyone clamor for the days of "old" Beckett. You mean when you had to know the exact year/brand/set/card number just to figure out what you had? Or when you had to wait for the first week of the month for new pricing? Get real...
My biggest problem with these manufactured articles is that they are masquerading as the real thing. Letter patches as Lettermen cards. Hat patches as real logo patches. Fake bat barrels as the real thing. It takes away from the real items that these impostors are mimicking. I am proud to...

To further clear up the RC mess, here is a simple guide. Anything that is a college set, USA baseball set or any other type of prospect set is consider not a "mainstream" release. Beckett only classifies cards that are MLB mainstream releases as official RC sets. Upper Deck Prospect Premieres...
It looks like 76-100 were 1:36 out of Topps Opening Day. All book at $40. Probably due to market scarcity as Opening Day is not a widely broke product.
