Wow, great return! I have an auto of him I got TTM as well, and he seems to sign pretty fast. Nice extras and pic of Ebbets Field as well; that will look great framed!
Even if you're a player collector, I would sell now when there insanely high and the re-buy same cards again when they're much lower. This is the time to make a good profit on those kind of cards. I wish I had some of my own!
Yeah, that's their policy on these. I don't know if you're going to be able to send the replacement they give you back to UD if you don't like it though. If you look at the thread, some guys have done really well and some have gotten lesser value cards. It's a risk you have to take with...
Too bad it's his jersey number. But, the auto is faded, and a new card with a nice signature would look much nicer in your collection (at least that's how I felt when I sent some in). You should send it in. Remember to email them and get an order number first.
Money order is a third option, but that would be much more time consuming than writing a check or putting cash in an envelope. If the cash is well-concealed, and you drop the letter at the post office and mail to a business address or PO Box, I think you would have a pretty low chance of...
I'm trying to consolidate my collection right now. I figure that as much as I'd like more than a few bucks for some decent player jerseys and autos, the truth is that they're worth what someone is willing to pay. If I sell them and reinvest the money, the buyer's market works itself out. I'm...
Yeah, I understand. We can't get a quote until we have a list, but it's not binding (at least I don't see how it could be), so we can know the price of the cards before we send. Thanks for looking for the extra cards!
UPDATE: It seems that we can't get 50 autos to send in, so would anyone want to send their autos in via standard pricing? It would still be much cheaper on the shipping.
PSA wouldn't be able to put a number grade on it, but they definitely would be able to slab it and authenticate it for you. What we're doing is perfect for that. Once I get the details of what everyone's sending, it shouldn't be a problem to include yours with our order.
Thanks,
Jesse
