i wish i had the money to buy jumbos. next year maybe ill save and have enough to buy some cases but then again the chances of having someone to drive prices like stras and harper probably wont happen next year. im happy with what i have though. 3 boxes to open and the 16 blasters to sell...
i bought a case of blasters today as well. the price went up to 340(thats what i get for taking the time to make my mind up) but the extra 20 bucks is better then spending over 300 and regretting it, at least i have peace of mind. the blasters are already going for 25 on ebay and should go up...
I bought 3 boxes so far and i might buy a few more. After prebuying bowman chrome last year and then watching the price drop 40 bucks i was a little nervous but i jumped into it again. the price was the same price i got it at last year and had a decent break so i tried it again.
I havnt decided...
your pretty much right with the first part. I enjoy collecting if its something i get joy out of . Ive been collecting since i was a little kid. i stopped around age 17 until age 21. the price of postage as well as other factors have led to my limited interest in trading so reselling is sort...
if i truly decide to sell it i wouldnt put it as a lot i would list everything individually and let them go. the lot thing is just while im making up my mind. im going to put it up with a 2-3k BIN which is way high and take offers. if i truly decide to sell i will list them all individually.
Its true im thinking about selling the Ernie banks collection.
Its something ive tossed around in my mind for a bit and im starting to lean towards selling it but im still not 100 percent sure. So im kind of looking for input from memebers. im not sure what input im really looking for but...
deal lol. but seriously when i made the thread taking offers someone posted telling me that since the last one sold for 320 basically i should expect 260-280 on the boards because i wouldnt be paying fees and people would probably pay gift since i have a good rep. but the 500 dollar price...
thanks guys for reaffirming what i thought true and that is that treating others like that doesnt have to be a norm for trading online
on another note a bvg 6.5 like mine just sold for 500. that shows how amazingly volitale the prices on this card are and that im justified in wanting to take...
I used to be hardened to stuff like that back in the day then i left the hobby and online trading forums for 3-4 years so i guess that softened me up lol.
yea the replies were deleted, when someone posts something like that in a thread of mine i pm the link to a mod and they are usually quick to get it removed.
they are widely inconsistent on what they go for on ebay. a 6.5 sold for 320 a couple days ago then a 6 went for 325 the next day. a psa...
i will say i prefer the member attitude over here more then there by far for a relaxed, adult conversation or debate this site beats that one by far. arguments here rarely turn into a fight just because someone doesnt agree with anothers point of view. i also prefer this site to ask for advice...
I have a thread on here and scf looking to sell my nolan ryan bvg 6.5 rc and asking for offers(you may have seen it). I left for an hour and when i got back there were 7 posts on the scf one none of which were people interested in the card.
the first person told me what the last one sold for...
thank you.
there is a local flee market every saturday and sunday a town over from mine that im going to try that out i think. the ad says there are over 50 people that sell there so the traffic is probably pretty decent(for a county of 5000 people at least).
thats my biggest worry and its unfortunate that we have to assume that now. Im honest and wouldnt dream of searching a box but people ruin it for everyone.
thanks for the input so far guys. the guy i talked to said he did them at flee markets in a small town not much bigger then mine and generally clears around 200 dollars a day so i was wondering how well that could transition the card shows.
another thing to keep in mind that i forgot to...
I really want to get into doing some local card shows and flea markets this summer to make some money on the side. One idea I saw on another site was using card flipping profits to buy unopened boxes from past years and selling the packs for 3-4 bucks each.
My question is how well do you...
i think leaving a neutral is more then fair. most people would leave a negative. as a seller i try to get all sales out within 3 days and if something comes up that i cant i contact the buyer immediatly and let them know the situation and when i expect the card to be out.
