    Rangers Alumni, plus Rangers-Padres

The crazy thing is I actually got more done last year (130-ish this year, 150+ last year).
  4. HockeyBrawler

    Rangers Alumni, plus Rangers-Padres

I don't believe I did. Unfortunately there aren't many recent guys they bring in for the Alumni events. But I can rack on some late 80's Topps cards!

    Rangers Alumni, plus Rangers-Padres

Haven't done a blog write-up on the weekend because I was dead tired and have a floorball league game tonight, so I figured I'd at least post a brief recap here. Rangers had their annual Alumni Legacy Weekend and team HOF induction this past weekend. It's pretty much the biggest graphing...

Boise Hawks @ Everett Aquasox 6.27.15

So would that mean you're worldwideed with the worldwidehead? Seriously though, good stuff. I always liked that Doug Jones flaming ball card (the irony being that he was anything but a fireballer).

I wanna see some vintage successes, McKay?

It's been fun to work on. He gave me all of them last summer when I was in town and I figured I might as well try to get some of the commons signed. So far only two I've sent are still out there somewhere unsigned-- Russ Nixon (going on 9 months now) and Al Downing (which I just mailed...

    Piece with 5 sigs finished

I love the fact it was a Limited Edition of "only" 22,000. But this is probably the only one totally signed at least!

I wanna see some vintage successes, McKay?

Just noticed I already posted the 60's ones. At least the McKay is new!

    Two players, 11 Gold Gloves

Probably not. If/when I have a color printer again, I'll likely turn them (and a backlog of others) into CIC's. I print the player's name at the top right, with team, position, and number at the bottom left, and a faded team logo in the center.

I wanna see some vintage successes, McKay?

McKay? = Mmmkay? No? Meh, whatever. JUNE 8 Dallas Green, c/o Phillies, 5/4, 8 months Among them were 1962 and 1963 Topps cards that were once in my dad's collection, he also enclosed a signed ad for his book JUNE 19 Bobby Shantz, c/o home, 2/1, 1 week Frank Malzone, c/o home, 2/1, 1 week Both...

    WANTED: Cory Snyder

I'm good on those; I've mailed out to him a few times and I'm hoping to go up to OKC to get my GU bat signed in August when Tacoma comes to town. Thanks though.

No Cute Title - Just Arnold Palmer

Cool stuff. Just a heads up though, it's been said on SCN at least that Palmer autopens, and may have as many as four of them for use on different items. It may not be true, but caveat emptor.

What is your favorite IP or TTM Success???

I don't know that I could name a single favorite, but I have some fun memories. The first autograph I ever got was Joe Charbonneau on a free Xeroxed photo at a card show in 1991. I had just turned 7 years old. The second one was Mark Lewis (in ballpoint pen on a roster insert from a game...

Ed, did you have to post that link? Seriously, my bank account is hurting badly enough before I knew about this!

    2015: IP in Arlington

  19. HockeyBrawler

    WANTED: Cory Snyder

Stop laughing. I'm serious. I'm close to where I'd consider applying for Supercollector status on Snyder. However, I have a ton more I need. I have over half his cards, but I'd like to get a little higher on that percentage, hopefully with a few of these lower-numbered ones. So, I'm hoping...

    2015: IP in Arlington

Hopefully, but not holding out much hope. He's the toughest signer in Cleveland and has been ever since his arrival in the majors. Five toughest for the Tribe are Brantley, Brantley, Brantley, Brantley, and Chisenhall. At least Chiz signs occasionally (just not for me). Until Friday night, I...
