Thinking about opening up a card shop
Solid advice. Don't stop chasing your dreams, but be realistic about your expectations and be aware of how difficult owning/running a successful "brick and mortar" card shop is in this day and age. -Chad- chaddie84

Jersey cards and the team from which the swatch comes
It wouldn't bother me unless it was a blatant discrepancy. I saw a scan of a beautiful Bert Blyleven logo patch from Triple Threads. The photo is him in a Twins uni with the Twins as the team in the text, but the logo patch was of the Angels. That would drive me totally nuts.- chaddie84

Yes. From the box I opened, the QC seems much better now. Getting 2 or 3 sub-100 numbered cards in a single box was unheard of in 2010. The new parallels alllow there to be more low-numbered cards mixed in the product, plus I think they made less cases this year. Refractors seem to be seeded at...- chaddie84

I can tell you from my experience, it's just as fun having your cards busted that way as it is live. It's also neat having your box busted for thousands to watch and leave feedback. Sorry to kick a dead horse, but I might actually consider using Beckett's OPG if they stopped jacking the rates up. The $6.75 per sport per month (that's over $160 a year to cover the two sports I collect) is getting a tad extreme for me especially considering how frustrating my experience with...- chaddie84

I don't see the harm in having a trader establish him or herself on the site prior to making sale posts/threads. Perhaps the rule also helps in avoiding having the site full of new account sale spammers with multiple sale threads in each forum. I find this to be a downfall of other trading sites...- chaddie84
