Very nice! That guy is in the Hall of Fame as a player and could be inducted as an executive as well since he was the long time GM of the Ravens during their successful run. I don;t know if it is allowed but I say induct him again! Is there going to be a Paul Warfield autograph coming...

HaHa! I checked and I was right. 2006 Topps is the most recent complete baseball set I have so it was one of the few issues from this Century I am familiar with.. I have a couple of 2007 and 2008 football sets but that is as modern as I get. 2006! It just occured to me that was two...

I'm 99% sure that card is card #297 (subject to double checking). i only know that because I've seen it so many times on want lists as the only card people need for the 2006 set.\\ Off to see if I'm right.

A lot of the card companies used to label their cards as RCs if it was their first card of the player. They never paid any attention to the Beckett's definition of RC. Even now I see people label non rcs as RCs on their trade lists A prime example of this is Mike Piazza's 1993 cards which...

Pop really seems to be a Midwest thing since that was the overwhelming name for it in Michigan. RC Cans and I have a loooooong and storied history. I have well over a thousand of them here in the attic. I have at least one complete set of both of the baseball years (1977 and 1978) and...

Pop was the big term in Michigan. I like you guys with the Coke thing. What kind of Coke do you want? (Fill in type here), Most people here say Soda but I always say Coke.

You gotta be kidding? That's insane. The fact that the short printed Walter Payton is only $15 should have tippped me off. There were only 4 Walter Payton items produced in 1976......his Topps RC, and discs by Crane, Saga and Pepsi which all have the same picture of him on it. Nothing...

I have no idea what this disc books for but it is a REALLY cool item. Book value is not the only factor that makes collecting enjoyable. Half Century old items like this of an A-List HOFer are. And yet 99% of collectors will have zero interest in something like this because it is not Ohtani...

Here is a factoid I did not know until today. Morton and Staubach were both born on February 5th with Staubach being boirn in 1942 and Morton in 1943. Looking at the Cowboys Playoff results from the Meridith/Morton/early Staubach era, that franchise really paid its' dues. 1966 and 1967 they...

Meredith actually retired before the 1969 season His retirement was the reason that the very recently passed away Craig Morton became the Cowboys starting QB. The fall off from Meredith to Morton was not that great as they were 12-2 in 1968 and 11-2-1 in 1969.

I'll give you a huge "what if" that very well could have changed history. The ridiculous "Tuck Rule" call that allowed New England to keep the ball and kick the game tying fg to send the playoff game into OT where NE beat the Raiders. That was the year Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl...

Love the vintage hockey since you don't see anywhere near as much of it as you do older basketball, football and especially baseball!! I've always wondered what percentage of hockey cards Topps printed in any given year compared to the other three sports?? I'd guess hockey was 1 to 2% of...
