You got it! I highlighted deep green for 60 and 57 as I just bought a large lot of both on ebay and waiting for them to come in. Figured I'd buy a couple of large lots for sets under 50% and use the dupes for trade
My set needs are in my sig. Go to the "Set Matrix" tab at the bottom and scroll down and to the right until you get to the 60s/50s. Click on the % completed number and it will take you to the wantlist for that specific year. At the top of each wantlist there's a link to go back to the set matrix.
I should have a bit of your 70-73 needs. Do you have any 65 or older cards you're willing to trade (I'm complete back to 65 and 59 is complete). If not would you be willing to buy? LMK and I can start pulling to check condition. Thanks! Steve
Should have this but would need to check condition.
1968 Topps 355 Ernie Banks
Are you looking to trade or buy? I'm currently working on vintage sets from 51-65 but also can use duplicate Reds cards through the 70s. LMK and thanks! Steve
Quick question...I'm working on vintage sets as well. I'm complete essentially back to 1966 as well as 1959 less a few high #s from 1967. Besides the 62s and 63s on your site do you have any other vintage? I can hit a LOT of your set needs as I was picking up large lots of a few of those...
Here’s scans of what I have. The 1967 Jimenez has a pen “x” on the back top corner. The 1968 Northrop has a crease - noticeable from the back. Pics below. Lmk what you think.
Sorry, I missed your post originally. If I were trading newer base cards I'd generally accept a 10 for 10 swap. But..off current Beckett values this is way lopsided:
For me:
1965 Topps #36 Bobby Wine $2.00
1965 Topps #61 Chris Cannizzaro $2.00
1965 Topps #72 Tony Gonzalez $2.00...
Sorry, don't have an extra 1971 #594. I should have these WS cards but would need to check conditions:
1965 Topps 133 World Series Game 2/Mel Stottlemyre
1965 Topps 137 World Series Game 6/Jim Bouton
1967 Topps 151 World Series Game 1/Moe Drabowsky
1967...
Thanks for looking for the 65s. I don't have any of those baseball bucks.
For the 67s I just checked and it's actually 6 cards but none of the big names...just hard to get high #s. I've got quite a few of high # dupes but I haven't had the luck of finding someone who has them and willing to...
So
Congrats to you on the 65 set. Yeah that Grant is a tough one to get in good condition for a decent price. Sorry, I only do baseball. Any other sports I have were cards picked up in a lot purchase. As far as other sets, here's the number of different cards I have dupes of for each Topps...
Just finished my 1959 set and my 1966 set ( those darn high #s are killers...) and now on to 1965. Need a little more than 80 cards with a combination of commons, high # commons, LL cards and stars/HOFs. I don't expect anyone to trade down on the big 5 but they're on the list nonetheless -...
