    Unlike football, baseball does not usually reward peak players with entry to the HoF. Kiner and Koufax are the exception, not the rule. Hence, no Murphy, Garvey, Santana, or Belle. Perhaps Richie Allen's recent enshrinement will cause some reconsideration for players whose 7-10 yr peaks put them...

    Here's an oddball thing I found when cleaning out my closet. I think it was a giveaway at Yankee Stadium. I never unwrapped it.

    It might be those black borders. The 71s, 86s and 85 football are some of the best looking designs regardless of BV. IMHO.

    Ferris Fain was actually a pretty good ballplayer. He won a couple of batting titles, multiple all-star. There's a bunch of guys from the 50s nobody remembers.

    I stumbled on this at my LCS yesterday. Never had a Tiffany before. They had another one, and also the 85T Rose Manager. I only got this one, for less than the price of a Starbucks. But thinking I may go back and get the other two, if they haven't been snapped up by Rose watchers.
