It wasn't your list that was getting me -- it was the '90s. Looking at those Pacifics and wondering "is this bronze or gold?" Considering how many sets you're covering there, your lists are pretty workable. I've found at least one more card for you, an '08 Chrome Pedro Blue Refractor, and a...
Mike, I did look, but found very little. You have a LOT of Mets cards....
It looks like you can use these (but I occasionally got lost in the lists):
96 Gallery Rey Ordonez 140
98 Score Artist Proofs Bobby Jones PP130
99 Topps Tek Mike Piazza 15A P-01
07 Upper Deck Star Power Jose Reyes SP-JR...
I haven't got much help for you, but I could do these two if you can use them:
2008 Upper Deck Gold Aaron Heilman 155 (91/99)
2009 Upper Deck Gold Carlos Delgado 764 (43/99)
Or I can keep looking for other stuff. PLMK, and thanks.
Best,
David
Glad you got lucky. I just got a similar box in the mail -- couple of hundred base sent loose in a 300-count box. I think that if eBay were to add another category to feedback, it'd help a lot. Currently there's only speed of shipping and cost of shipping to assess, but quality of packaging...
I shake my head when I see an entire set valued at less than the component value of a few cards in the set. And since that's consistent in Beckett, I've become my own bobble head.
All-Time great overall. T206 Honus, Goudey Ruth, Mantle RC, etc. The Bench annual awards takes care of the others, right? That Topps list (http://vote.topps.com/) got me thinking that we could do better.
This may have been suggested and beaten down before, but I didn't see a thread, so....
I'd like to suggest that we create a Hall of Fame for the All-Time Great Cards. The Bench staff nominates say 20 cards and / or sets each year from the Big 4 sports and Benchies vote, with the top cards...
I just find it odd to celebrate the errors and mistakes the company made. Why not just go all in and produce parallel sets with 80/20 centering? I, for one, would be happy to say they're more valuable (because I have so many, including a 2011 Heritage Chrome Refractor). Maybe Heritage sets...
But you're going in the wrong direction, collecting all these cards. I was reading about a Griffey super collector in Beckett who has more than 300 Griffey cards! Imagine that. And he has -- get this -- A 1989 UPPER DECK ROOKIE CARD! Seriously. Page 28 of the February 2011 Beckett Baseball...
