2011 Press Pass Legends Football:
Where the Legends of the Past meet the Legends of Tomorrow

Charlotte, N.C – With the NFL draft just wrapping up, Press Pass Legends is hitting the market at the perfect time in 2011. With 18-pack hobby boxes delivering at least 5 hard autographs and 1 game-used jersey card, collectors have a chance to obtain not only all-time greats from the past, but the legends of the future as well. On top of being able to find autographs of the top rookies for 2011, such as Cam Newton, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder, the set will also include the likes of Emmitt Smith, Dan Marino, Hines Ward, and Michael Irvin – all featured in photos from their collegiate careers. Each pack will yield at least one insert card, every box will deliver at least 2 legendary autographs, and 1 of 1 Press Plates will fall at least one per case!
Eight distinct autograph designs will be featured in 2011 Press Pass Legends Football. Highlighting 90 players, 30 of whom are some of the greatest players in the history of football, Saturday Signatures delivers quite a blow, with an additional Emerald level numbered to 99 or less added alongside the Saturday Signatures Platinum parallel has been added this year that is only numbered to 25. Past & Present Ink will feature dual autographs of the top players from this year’s draft, paired with legends that had a comparable playing style, such as Emmitt Smith & Mark Ingram, or Jake Locker & Steve Young. Showcasing 17 legends of the gridiron, Legends of the Fall honors names such as Tedy Bruschi, Bob Griese, Franco Harris, Cris Carter, and Bo Jackson, and the Platinum parallel is numbered to just 25. All Americans pays tribute to the superstars who earned top accolades in the nation during their careers, including the likes of Cam Newton, Von Miller, Mark Ingram, and Nick Fairley, and includes a Platinum parallel numbered to only 25.
Delivering collectors game-used jerseys of several high profile NFL draft picks, Saturday Swatches highlights players such as AJ Green, Julio Jones, Jake Locker, Andy Dalton, and Blaine Gabbert. These will likely be some of the only collegiate game-used jersey cards ever issued for many of these players. Saturday Swatches Emerald is sequentially numbered to 99 or less and showcases a premium piece of jersey on each card, while the rare Saturday Swatches Platinum Patch Edition is numbered to 25 or less.
“We expect Press Pass Legends Football to be one of the top products released this year,” explained Nick Matijevich, Director of Product Development for Press Pass Inc. “While continuing our tradition of delivering collectors player-touched, on-card autographs, we’ve taken this set to the next level with the tremendous retired content. Player collectors are always excited at the prospect of chasing the autograph variations of the legends, and we don’t expect this year to be an exception. As successful as this brand has been the last few years, we definitely feel that we’ve improved the product for 2011.”
2011 Press Pass Legends Football features a 100-card premium base set and is slated to release on May 11, 2011.
