What a sad weekend. Olivia de Havilland died at age 104. She did so much for the rights of all actors than anyone since.her active days.

Yes, so many losses of some talented and wonderfully creative people....Gone with the Wind is one of my wife's and my favorite movies, she was a great actress, one of the last from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

I corresponded with John Saxon multiple times in the early 90s, I had just started collecting ttm, and I liked his movies, especially Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee. John wrote me letters back, talking about his favorite movies that he had worked on, favorite co stars, and special memories. He was very kind and generous with his time to a young collector!

That's a name I always associate with "old time hockey" when there was only the original six and I used to fall asleep with my transistor radio next to my head, listening to Rangers' games.

Sharing that I just saw that Ramon Aviles died in January 2020. He was a light-hitting backup 2nd baseman for the Phillies from 1979-1981, a member of the 1980 World Champions team. As an 8 year old in Philadelphia in 1979, I had an opportunity to have some players sign a baseball. The first two signed their names and handed the ball back to me without saying anything. The third asked me my name, if I played baseball, what position, etc and then signed "To Larry, best wishes and good luck. Ramon Aviles." The other two players who signed were Larry Bowa and Bob Boone, but for 41 years I have called that my Ramon Aviles autographed ball.

    RIP, Ramon.
