Great success! In the game both the Cubs and Phils scored more than 20 runs, back in the '70's, Lerch actually started the game for the Phils and was knocked out in the bottom of the 1st, or something like that. However, he did stick around long enough to launch an opposite field home run of his own at Wrigley on that windy day. Brings back memories.
