1984 O'CONNELL AND SON INK SERIES ONE SET BREAK FOR SALE

I have a full set of Series One 1984 O'Connell and Son Ink, and am selling the singles. Only 2000 sets were made of each Series and this is the first one, issued in 1984. Player collectors have long sought after these cards. The cards are nice, NM-MT or better. And what a line-up 26 of the 36 cards are of Hall of Famers.

I found a Book Value Listing in the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards 2009 edition, showing the individual cards listed with a low of $1.50 for the Minoso, up to a high of $18 for the Mantle. I will be selling at about 1/3 of the Book value, the more you buy the better the discount. I prefer paypal, please.

PLEASE NOTE...... It has been brought to my attention that the On-Line Beckett shows BV's for these cards 80 or 90% below the 2009 Standard Catalog which I used (I do not have the OPG). It's hard to believe that these limited edition cards are shown so low in Beckett, but that is the case.

For example, The Nolan Ryan # 7 O'Connell card is show at $12 in the Catalog, but only at $2 BV in the On-Line Beckett. Nevertheless, the only sale of this card on Beckett (10-12-13) was at $14.95.

It certainly isn't my intention to rip any one off, so I wanted to make every one aware of the published info. It also is not my intention to sell these cards for pennies either. To the trader who asked about the Ryan card, I offered at $4 plus postage, which I think is fair.
