1990 World Series Prices

The Cincinnati Enquirer has been running reprints of the front page of the sports section to celebrate the 1990 World Champion Reds. Today was the day they clinched the National League pennant over Pittsburgh.

Down on a sidebar they had a notice that a limited number (3000) of World Series tickets would be going on sale that day. Prices...................

$50 and $40 dollars.

I know these were probably the top rows of the red seats but that seems like a huge bargain now. I know I'll pay $50 for a World Series ticket. What do they go for today?

I paid $125 for Game 1 of last years World Series in the New Yankee Stadium. That was one level below the upper deck seat, I believe those sold for $80.
