1993 Ultra Performers - un-numbered?

Found these and they are un-numbered. Anyone familiar with these?

As in no serial number in the box on the bottom of the back? If that's the case I would assume they're an error or were backdoored. Could also be a "proof" that has come out after the Fleer bankruptcy.

I'd have to check my sets, but it seems to me that the header cards were numbers and not the individual cards, but my memory could be tricking me.

That set was a favorite of mine when they first came out.

It's doubtful these were serial numbered... I don't think that was very prevalent on inserts until a few years later.

If you look at COMC each card is serial numbered on the back. It's not in the 001/100 format, but something like "set number 080000".
