Question re: possible issue with a recent auction win for the subject cards...
These cards, to the best of my knowledge (and after some admittedly quick research), should be #'d to 199. The five cards I received in the mail today are not. Definitely my fault for not checking the scan of the cards better before bidding. Now, I have not found any pertinent information regarding counterfeits of these Ripken cards (or of the entire set).
Anyone have a bit of knowledge that I have not found yet?
