I received the following:


Base Cards



306 unique base cards -- 87.4% of the 350 card base set -- VERY Good!

Topps Series 2 follows in the line of Series 1 (duh!). The cards have a glossy front and a full bleed (picture covers entire front of card - no borders) action shot.

I chose the card of Simmons #520 for the base card example because I believe it is one of the best photos I have seen on a baseball card in many years.

The reverse is again simple and concise with personal stats and pro stats along with a write up of the player's skills and their social media handles.

Topps Series 2 also has manufactured relics -- Team Logos - regular and numbered, Independence Day - regular and numbered, along with the photo variations, gold parallels, silver parallels, nearly something for everyone. If you have collated the first series, then Series 2 is a must for you.

I don't envy the folks out there that put the gold set together each year... only 5 in this box -- set of 350... could be quite a hill to climb.

Overall grade A

Go buy several hobby boxes and send the Rays parallels to me!!
