Fire is a foil fronted card featuring the action photo of the player on an artistic background. The back is clean and simple. The set includes veterans, rookies, and retired players - such as McGuire, Gooden, Gossage, Feller, McCovey, Boggs, Rizzuto to name just a few.
With a foil front the cards will be condition sensitive -- so if you want to get one or more graded... be careful with the edges of the cards.
Receiving 100 of the base is a good start to a base set. One should only need buy 3-4 boxes depending on collation (ideally - 2 -- but how many times would that happen??) The set builder should enjoy building the set and the player collector should relish the chase of their favorite feller(s) with the various parallels and inserts. The parallel set builder might have a bit of a hill to climb with the different parallels - flame, orange, green, purple, magenta, inferno.... and the different inserts as well....

Fire seems to be a good issue. I like the proportion of the inserts to base. There are enough base to really get one started on the set and there are enough inserts to develop an interest in one or more to begin the ultimate chase.
Overall grade A
Go buy 4 or 6 boxes and send the autos to me (especially if they are numbered!!)
