"Verdad" is "truth" in Spanish... closest I could match to "Valverde"...

Jose Valverde, 1/1 c/o Tigers ST. Signed 06F for set in blue. Looks like he signed a batch, some returns popping up on SCN.

And even better... Dale Murphy, 3/2 (kinda) c/o some address in Highland, UT. Maybe a business? He signed two 92 Triple Play cards from that set (regular and Little Hotshots) and also pulled out the protective index card from my SASE and put a huge blue sig with "NL MVP 82, 83". Would be pretty much perfect aside from a crinkle the IC got in transit. I mentioned in my letter about 88 Donruss (with his picture on the box) being the first cards I collected, but who knows if he read it or it meant anything. Either way, awesome success!

Wow...that's awesome. You got a cool Tiger (even though he gives me agita) and one of the best players of the 1980s!
