#7 of 2014 topps update

hi all
i have yet to find any reference to why the #7 is not listed in series 1 . i am assuming it might come out in series 2 and that it might be a mantle, but havent read anything on it. has anyone heard anything

Card #7 has been "retired" for Mickey Mantle since 1997. There is no card #7 or base Mickey Mantle card. Topps does not have a deal with the Mantle estate anymore.

Yes, no #7 is being made anymore. That is why Puig is card #331 to make the 2014 Topps Series I a 330 card set (1-6 & 8-331).
