So today was the last game for the Loons (since they were at bottom of the 2nd half standings). I went to try and knock out a chunk of the team set and finish up a couple 50/50s. Oh yeah, and on my way in one of the security guards asked if I had my ticket yet (nope) and if I would want a lawn seat (don't care) - so he gave me a free ticket. Thank you Loons staff! The results:

pregame (team set card + noted)

Rick Anton MWL Debut Ticket
Nick Akins 1/1
Ryan Christenson 1/1
Bobby Coyle 1/1
Steve Domecus 1/1 (a tough one)
Jon Garcia 1/1 (another tough guy)
Garrett Gould 7/7 - 3 for 50/50 (x2 Topps Debut, x4 Donruss EEE)
Casio Grider 1/1
Pete Houdek 1/1 (Trainer)
Zach Lee ROMLB SS
Matt Jackson 1/1 (S&C Coach)

Then I find out during the pregame that all the players will be signing autographs outside the gates after the gate. The only bad thing is that there are two gates, so the pitchers were at one with the position players at the other. I had a couple on both sides to get, so I got some extra exercise!

Lenny Harris 1/11 (Hitting Coach) (didn't try the page today. Acted like he rather party with the player-hosts then mingle with fans like he was suppose to do)
Chris Jacobs 1/1 (surprised he was there since he's on the DL)
Leon Landry 8/8 - 2 for 50/50 (a tough one to get) (x5 Bowman w/ some having bad prep work on my part, x2 Bowman Chrome)
Zach Lee 1/1 + ROMLB SS
Kremlin Martinez 1/1 (Pitching Coach)
Angel Sanchez 1/1
John Shoemaker 1/1 (Manager)

That leaves me about 15 in the team set, with 12 of those guys being promoted to a higher level while the others were not there today (DL players). I am always looking for help on completing these sets if anybody thinks they can help out.

Congrats, why was Lenny celebrating? Didn't think loons could get in playoffs
Well, I was just a little bit pissed with him like most people have been. First of all I had to wait for a couple minutes for him to stop messing with his posse. Then, he grabbed my sharpie and team set card out of my hand with an angry swipe. Of course to top it off, he signs it with his back to me and going back to his conversation in his posse. I just ask that you at least give me a few seconds of your attention while signing my item! I wouldn't really mind if LH was gone next year and we got a new coach.

I got to say that this one of the worst fan friendly coaches in the MWL now that KG Sr. is gone.

Coaches seem to be one or the otehr...eitehr really nice or can't ever be nice...it's like their playing days are over and they can't handle that or they love what they do and continue to be nice...I wish more coaches would be nice, but lately I haven't seen many besides Ryne Sandberg...then again I mostly spend my time with the SWB Yankees lol

That's exactly how it was here (Mississippi Braves) when Jeff Blauser was our manager a few years ago. He acted like he could care less to even look at you when you talked to him.
