A very special success with Jerry Maren, who portrayed the middle Lollipop Guild kid in 1939's classic The Wizard Of Oz. He was the one who handed the giant lollipop to Dorothy(Judy Garland) soon after her arrival in Oz.This was my third auto from Mr.Maren, now 91 years young. What a great film, you don't have to be a kid to love it. A big thank you to Mr.Maren. Signed in 42 days.

"We represent the Lollipop Guild."

Very cool pick up, Jeff! What did he sign?

There is an "Oz" museum in Liberal, KS (extreme SW corner of the state). There is a replica of the house that was used in the movie and some other Oz related stuff. Wamego (about 45 west of Topeka) has a better Oz museum, in my opinion. They have an Oz festival and the community theater put on The Wizard of Oz every year. My cousin's kid was a munchkin one year.

Great Pick Up
Travis.

Nice man, I got to meet one of the original munchkins IP several years ago. He has since passed away, but he was VERY nice. Always put his personal phone number on the back of photos in case anyone needed any type of advice or "good luck".

Thanks all for the info. Here in NC, Beech Mountain, was home back in the early 1970s to a theme park, The Land Of Oz, ran for about 10 years until about 1980 when a fire and lack of interest basically shut it down. There are a still a few sites from the park left for visitors to look at.
Jim,
he previously signed 2 index cards for me, but this time he signed a 4x6 printout of The Wizard of Oz opening title screen, but signed it on back. But still a super signature.
