Hey all,

I recently got a couple of packs of 2009 Finest Baseball with my son. In hopes of chasing the Travis Snider redemption Patch/Auto. We didn't get any, LOL!! But we did pull two expired Rookie Redemption Cards. I contacted Topps and asked if there was a way to still redeem them and that I understood that if they couldn't, no big deal. They responded by saying it was against policy, blah blah blah but they did say they would send some complimentary packs!!! I thought that was super cool on there part since they didn't have to send anything. Anyways, has anyone ever recieved complimentary packs from Topps? If so, what did you get? Thanks,

Matt

Oh, I will update with what they sent.

Last year when I tried to get my Million Card Giveaway cards sent to me, it took 3 months to finally get them. They sent me like 4 packs of cards for my wait. If I remember correctly it was A&G, Unique, Heritage and Ticket To Stardom.

I once received a bundle of complimentary packs due to a shipping discrepancy.
Last year when I requested shipment of my Million Dollar giveaway cards, there was an option for UPS insured, or USPS first class shipping. Of course, the UPS shipping with insurance (which I chose) was more expensive.
The cards arrived via USPS first class.
I contacted Topps and requested a refund for the difference (I paid via credit card) since I was charged the higher shipping but recieved the cheaper one.
The rep said they weren't able to refund the difference, but I would get some packs in the mail.
I don't remember now what I got, but I do remember it was a bunch of packs, maybe 6-7, and a few were high end.

Sounds good to me!! Hope it's Triple Threads!!! LOL, yeah right. I am banking on just the base Topps series 1 or 2 but I don't care. I just thought it was pretty sweet they are sending something. I have heard all of the horror stories in the past and I understand how people who got the shaft would be upset, but I wanted to give props to Topps for helping me out. I'll let everyone know what I get!

I've gotten a few packs from some card company, UD I think. Some card was messed up so they sent me a few packs of 08 Masterpieces. I don't remember pulling anything but hey, nothing wrong with opening a few free packs.

Never Topps, just replacement cards from them. Panini sent me complimentary packs for a mishandling of a redemption (missing auto sticker), which needed to be return-shipped...anyways, it cost me postage and ended up being 6 months for what should have been 8-12 weeks. I got a couple packs for being patient and for me paying to return ship the card...all base in both packs :p.

Never got any packs but did receive replacement cards...................I'm thinking like the rest, patience is going to be required for this one...............

UPDATE!!!

Got two packs of series 1 Topps baseball in the mail today. Not hits, just two basic packs. They were still free, but kinda wish I would have gotten the rookie redemption cards.
