Check the 2nd and 3rd posts also for important updates before you start pulling cards!
Work is sending me back to Arizona just in time for the Arizona Fall League (darn!). Instead of hanging out in a hotel room and eating bad room service or worse, my hope is to get to a game every night MON-THU and possibly an occasional weekend when I wrap around my work weeks.
It looks like the AFL rosters are mostly set. Follow the link below and then the menu path "Teams" to get to the rosters... http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/afl/index.jsp
Browse them at your leisure and let me know what you have available for a 50/50. I'm currently stocking up on singles from sportlots and via trades when I can.
I will list singles that I've found in the 2nd post to give you a head start on where to look. The 3rd post consists of cards I'm currently seeking. There are 37 guys found in 2012 Topps Heritage Minors.
While we have nearly a month to coordinate, please get in line early as it's first-come, first-served. I don't like chasing down the same player over and over so there may be a limit on some of these guys (especially the tougher autographs). Also, once I start getting photos of players during games, cards take a backburner to my 8x10 collection and players will drop off the list.
If you know the signing habits of any of the players or if you know of former players who scout the league and might be at games, I'd appreciate the insight.
Lastly, if you live in the Phoenix area and are interested in meeting up, let me know!
