Pete Rose Jr. is the local manager here in Bristol this year...I am going to take a Topps Chrome Refractor over to try and get signed and wondered what you IP guys would say is the best pen to use?

I know on regular glossy cards i have used baby powder and the white erasers to remove the gloss and it worked well...only have one refractor so i dont want to screw it up...only have one shot at getting it right here.

any advice?

I have used it and they come out great. I sent a Topps tribute to
Ryme Sandberg and it came out awesome. I sprinkle it on, let it set and VERY gently rub it across one time . It worked for me. I tried it first on a Refractor that was a double and tested it. I suggest you do the same.

Could also use a Staedtler eraser. I've used both for Chrome Refractors on 2008 Bowmans and have had great success.

If you're very concerned you could 'sacrifice' a refractor and scribble on it yourself.... :)
