Got this on ebay for fairly cheap, I always say you get what you pay for... if you got something that should be worth alot, for cheap, there's probably a reason.

what do you guys think? legit?

thanks for the input

Looks legit on most of the loops, but the base of his letters, especially on the first name are "Dotted" meaning more pressure was issued to connect to each letter's loop. I wouldn't be so sure this was legit, but that's why I strictly buy pack certified autographs if I want one... because even psa/dna or jsa can falsely authenticate a fake autograph.

I noticed that too (couldn't see that on ebay).... indicates to me that there is a slight pause between letters.... loop, stop... loop, stop... etc... like the signer is taking his time.

No idea how Randy signs, if he's one to take his time like that... Somebody faking it, or an autopen might however.

I guess I can't be sure, but psa/dna or jsa could probably help.

I can give you an idea of what mine are..

Hope this helps!

thanks!

I see a few of those "pressure points" are shown in yours too... however mostly at the end of a line, which is probably normal for anybody to pause or apply more pressure there.

Here's the problem with these comparisons: you don't know when this one was signed. Johnson's sigs have a lot of variations. The examples we have seen here are certified sigs from the last decade. This is a 20+ year old card. This card could have been signed 15-20 years ago. I say get it authenticated. Believe it or not, there are terrific buys on ebay that aren't slabbed, and are authentic, but no one knows it because they aren't slabbed.
