Sent a 74 Topps card to his home on 1/11/2013. Recieved it back signed today. Wished him a Happy Birthday in my letter which was on 1/29/2013.

He also wrote back a nice little note that said "Stan Musial just passed away, brought back memories. First time I faced him, he hit a grand slam, 1961."

When I saw the name Bobby Bolin, all I could think of was all the vintage cards I've sent to that man and not one has ever made it back to me. I had been using the PO Box 1948
Easley, SC 29641 address. I see there is a street address 100 Medinah. My latest attempt I sent him an inquiry card SASE to check a box & he checked "Yes". So I attempted it again and again nothing. It's maddening, I congradulate you on your return. How long did it take to get back to you?

Well shut my mouth. Can you believe this? The next day after writing the above comment I get an envelope in my mailbox from none other than Mr. Bolin, inside are my '66, '72, '73 & '74 from eight months ago. I ended up losing an additional '73 &'74 to him. Thanks for sharing your great return and letter from Bobby.

Hey, don't feel too bad. I got a return back from Mr. Bolin, last year as I recall, that took years. I'm not complaining. Very happy to get that return back. Those cards, by the way, also brought back memories. I had pulled them out of '70 and '72 Topps packs back in the day. I remember the days I opened up those packs. Brought back some wonderful memories of sitting out in front of that mom and pop convenience store in my old home town and chewing on that stale bubble gum.
