BSL The Post WS sim will be slightly delayed - Updated 5/24/12

Since James is out of town, and I am awaiting word on a new Seattle owner, as well as waiting to hear from Pittsburghs owner the sim for post World Series will not be tomorrow.

At this point in time I will run it thursday, but need to get these things in order before we can move too far along.

ALSO I will get the website updated tonight, sorry for the delay on that

Grateful for the breather. With Memorial Day weekend coming this weekend and my outdoor pool no where near ready to open and hauling butt to get it open in time for our facility members the extra day layoff is nice. Thanks for all your hard work Nick.

After this week it will be smooth sailing, the students will have everything they need. Now for the important stuff, who to go after in FA. My budget is up from last year on what I can spend and I'm dropping a few high end contracts.

As long as injuries don't hit me as hard I should be alright.

Reminder...update should be today so final few hours to elect team options on players, decide arb offers and non tendets, and offer arb to exiting fa if you want to qualify for compensation picks. Also almost time for rule 5 so get any players that need protecting on your 40 man rosters.

Long trip was made longer by 2hr 50min wait on tarmac before flying out yesterday from Dulles in DC, they made up time in the air to get t my connecting flight in Denver by 10 minutes, then as they waited 10 minutes to accomodate other conncting flights delayed by east coast weather, as we pull away from the gate we got hit by hail wich necessitated a return to the gate for FAA safty inspection, delayed in the cabin yet another hour and a half. I spent 11 hours in my seat with only 10 minutes between planes! No food either as I had intended to eat a good meal in my 2 1/2 hour layover that was taken up by that first delay.

League file will not be ready until tomorrow morning, I am sorry I ran out of time today.

I ran the sim thru awards, so when I get the file up and ready tomorrow, You will have one last chance to change or withdraw Arbitration offers before we sim thru arbitration hearings.

I plan on getting the league file up and ready tomorrow morning and holding off on the arb hearing sim until Tuesday so people have time to make adjustments over the holiday weekend.

Sorry for the delay.

I am still awaiting word from Who I thought was going to be the Mariners new owner.
