the United Baseball League(yes, that's correct..there is such a thing) that now has 4 teams(two went bankrupt halfway during the season) were finishing up their season.Went with Drew(HockeyBrawler) to get the two managers..

Got some for Walt(hitNbullseyes), Nick(metrotheme) and even a card for Pat Neshek(he needs Essian for his 85 topps set and sent me the card w/ an SASE..i need to bribe him into a wiffleball game with Cespedes or something..)

and caught Dewayne Vaughn walking around..His son plays for San Angelo 1/1

This is all pretty low-key.When we walked in at 5(for a 6 o clock game), Essian was sitting in the stands texting on his phone. It was nice to converse, there were 2 others to get Doc and once again he was so friendly.He doesn't seem to be in very good health; but told stories for 10 minutes while we stood around.Good time.

thanks Walt..Essian thought it was cool that Neshek hadn't gotten him yet and this was for his set.I believe he's down to 30 or so left to complete it. I just messaged Pat and he sent me a thanks, next time when are in town, shout out to me during bp and i'll throw you a pearl or two." so thats kinda cool...and like i said, essian and edwards thought those Philly customs were awesome..both said "wow" as soon as they saw them..
