Couple TTM Questions

Hi everyone,

I am gonna start doing these maybe once a week.

I read the sticky and still have a few questions.

1) Do you send with top loader?
2) Has anyone snt to Spring Training camp?
3) If so do you send to the park they play at?

I moved this thread to Autographs/Discussion.
1. NO!! Some players will sign the toploader, or damage the card putting it back in. If having your autographed card in pristine mint condition is a necessity to you then TTMing is not for you.
2. All the time. Just sent 20 yesterday.
3. Yes!!

1. One thing that works pretty well is slipping an index card into your SASE, providing a little extra protection both ways.

3. Be careful, a couple of the teams require that mail be sent to the player development complex, or specify a mailing address on their spring training website.

I use the index card to write my note to them. Two birds with one stone.

The last TTM I got was when I was 8 from Kevin Mitchell lol.

I wrote him a 2 page letter!

I know most have suggested not using a toploader, but I have approximately 20 successes from minor leaguers to retired HOF'ers and have always sent with a toploader. Never once had a problem with them signing the toploader, at the worst they just don't put it back in
