Does anyone have info on the IP auto scene in Chicago?

Hi All,
I just found out my work will be taking me to Chicago for much of the next baseball season.
A few questions for the IP folks....

(1) Does anyone regularly get autographs in Chicago (Cubs, White Sox or Kane County)? Is there anything else? Independent leagues that have opportunities?

(2) What's the best location for autograph hounding at these parks?

(3) At which hotels do the visiting teams stay and are they accessible for us hounds? I have accumulated some notes over the years that tell me the Westin on Michigan Ave is the primary. Still true? How is it?

I've been to games at Wrigley and U.S. Cellular but it's been a few years. Also interested in any advice on where to park, nearby neighborhoods to avoid, etc.

For the most part I'll be on a M-TH schedule in Chicago and would like to meet up if you are part of the regular scene in Chicago. I suspect my best chances for autographs will be after games in the late evenings because my work schedule plus traffic will probably get me to the games "just in time" for the game if I'm lucky! Pre-game autos are not likely going to happen too often.

Appreciate any insight you can share.

at wrigley go to the parking lot on the waveland avenue side as it is where the players come in. they get there 2-3 hours before gametime so you have to be early or you can wait after the game but it is more crowded. if you get in the park early you can get down by the dugout and they may sign too

Thanks for the info. Do both teams use the same entrance?
