Ebay sellers - question about ending auctions on Super Bowl weekend

Got a few cards I'd like to list but don't want to have them ending next Sunday night. Should I have them end next Saturday night, next Sunday afternoon, or next Monday night? Anyone have any experience with this?

I've always operated under the theory that you don't end auctions on major holidays or big events days. And that you ALWAYS buy on Ebay on major holidays and big event days. Less competition online means lower final bids, IMO. Good for buyers, bad for sellers. The advent of bid services can help but I just avoid selling stuff those days.

if it's anyone playing in the game , i'd definitely try to target an end time right at or shortly after the end of the game....granted , it USUALLY only will result in abnormally (and temporarily) inflated prices for those on one team (larry fitzgerald and kurt warner with 2 minutes to go vs pittsburgh being one notable exception), but it's definitely paid off for me in the past to have items ending during the rush....

I see nothing wrong with ending auctions on superbowl sunday. Excess consumption of alcohol lowering people's inhibitions coupled with all the people with extra money in their pockets from winning pools could possibly boost prices. I'd end them 1-2 hours after the game.
