Pretty good pickups. I didn't get why Allison Scagliotti didn't have an auto in Season 1. Good looking cards.

I picked up a bunch of stuff, only real one worth showings this card. Figured since I would never get the 1/1 purple version it would be cool to have something close to it?? LOL!! Pretty neat patches, even cooler if they were real.

I am a little late to the game this month (it has been a doozie). Anyway, I have picked up the following cards plus quite a few Gehrigs and other misc GU and auto cards.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooo stoked about getting the Ruth!!!!!!!!!!! That is the last card I needed for the attainable Master set (minus autos and dual GU).

Despite the certification, I would not have thought that Yaz is real. Not sure i do with the certification either.

While I hear what you are saying; I have done some research. The certification is listed on the PSA/DNA website as proof the authentication was indeed completed by their company. As far as the signature itself goes, many of his earlier examples from his playing days look more like this. His signatue has changed over time as something similar with Mickey Mantle (see Mantle early 50s vs later years). Take a look at his 67 and 71 Topps cards. They are totally different than his later signature (post 1975).

Here is a near impossible pickup
Al "Doggie" Julian on a 1949 Celtics team signed picture

HOF 1968
April 5, 1901 - July 28, 1967
In a 41-year coaching career at Albright, Muhlenberg, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, and the Boston Celtics, Alvin "Doggie" Julian won over 400 games and established himself as a shrewd basketball coach. In 1947, Julian transformed a bunch of scrappy players from Holy Cross College into the first New England team to win the NCAA title. In his three seasons at Holy Cross, Doggie won 65 of 75 games. After two years coaching the Boston Celtics, he took his disciplined brand of basketball to Dartmouth, where the Big Green became an Ivy League power, winning titles in 1956, 1958, and 1959. Julian coached in five NCAA tournaments and two NITs. He also authored a popular basketball text, Bread and Butter Basketball.

Got this at a local show..................Didn't know these were seeded into packs..................Kind of pale next to the HOF stuff though...............

Mike,

Awesome!! I love those all-star jumbo patches!! I have a Kung-Fu Panda from last year. If I could put together one chase set from Topps it would always be the update all-star jumbo patches!!
