I have no love for the Yanks, but Mariano is the best closer ever and his jog to the mound as Enter Sandman plays is just another reason to love baseball.

Even as a Red Sox fan I have no problem with this and would gladly welcome a piece like it into my collection. I have never understood how he can keep getting Major League hitters out with just one pitch, but he just keeps rolling along.

I was at Fenway when the Sox got their rings in 2005 and when they introduced Mo he got a standing ovation (albeit a derisive one) and he smiled and tipped his cap... made me appreciate him that much more.
