I would like to know if a Negro Leaguer has made an impact in your area. A little league field named after them, a public school? Perhaps a stautue or monument.

Players such as Aaron Mays and Jackie Robinson surely have many, and I would like to here of these. But what I am really looking for are the players that never made it to the big leagues.

As an example, John Henry 'Pop' Lloyd here in Atlantic City. Has a little league field named after him, and has himself made contributions to the area during his lifetime.

Let me know what you have, send links to sites if you have any.

Thank you,
---Frank
