Bought an awesome lot on eBay that contained index cards and 4x6 photos signed. All were labeled but these two, any ideas? Era is 70s or 80s. Majority are from Astros, rangers, pirates and dodgers with some Japanese leaguers thrown in. Help???02ce90a7.jpg

The top one could be John "The Count" Montifusco

Zimmer seems like a good choice on the 2nd one. Montefusco seems to have a more legible last name

the 2nd one is definitely Zimmer. I think the first one is former Ranger Johnny Grubb.... waddya think?

for a better comparison, here's yours beside the Grubb example I found. I think the last name is just rushed (especially the "G")... but "John" matches well and you can actually see the "r-u-b-b" matching pretty well.

The spacing is pretty much on the money. Could very easily be a vintage Grubb. None of the Grubb's I have at the house, however, match with the one on top. Pretty fair comparison.

Grubb was one of the guys I had narrowed it down to as well. That would make sense since most of the lot was of rangers and astros. I think I am going to assume it is Grubb.
