How do we figure the Luxury Tax?

Just curious how this is figured out, so that I can prepare and possible release 2 players without causing financial problems...

AVG League salary +20% Is the soft cap.

Any team over the soft cap will owe monies to revenue sharing

Soft cap right now is approx 82 Million dollars

Any team over that will pay 20 % on overage to revenue sharing

Toronto is currently at approx 123 Million or 41 Million over soft cap, so you will owe around 8.2 Million to revenue sharing
Seattle and Atlanta will owe around 7 Million
Arizona around 4.2 Million
Philly around 3.8 Million
LAA around 2.6 Million
Texas around 2.3 Milliom
MN around 1.8 Million

FYI - Soft cap numbers are wrong in my initial response.

Soft cap is closer to 98-99 Million so the numbers I have above as far as what teams will owe to revenue sharing are too high
