How in the heck did I end up with these two cards?!

I mean... just... the odds are nuts. Were these issued in some way thst made this fairly common? Anyone know? I acquired them in a big collection I'm sure so I have no idea. Ive had them a while and just noticed this.

edit: just in case it was missed, I am asking about the serial numbers.

I suppose that would make sense if they were in a stack or something. Isn't there a thing though to where serial numbered cards have to be in packs? ....thought I heard that somewhere.
