Is it just me or is it irritating when people do this in auctions?

good question. It's one of the many annoying things about the listing.

I'm sure there are thousands of others out there. The listings that annoy me are the #01/?? auctions saying they were the first one made. They're not the first one made, just the first one imprinted with a serial number.

One other thing,I wish people would stop referring to regular jersey swatches as patches.

Right on. Because to me if it says "patch" I'm thinking that it's actually part of a patch from the jersey. Although I've maintained this stance since memorabilia cards came out, I would rather have a drawing to win the jersey instead of a piece of it that is hard to verify, the origins of. So say a regular jersey could yield x amount of cards with a small swatch of it put that many contest cards into packs and have a drawing at the end of the year.

I seem to remember Upper Deck had something like that way back in the day on sweepstakes cards in their products. I thought it was a good idea when Donruss enclosed the actual photo of the game used memorabilia the swatch came from on the back of the card. Now a player can go to Topps,Panini or wherever headquarters, throw on 25-30 jerseys on at once and BOOM!...............player worn lol. Ridiculous.

That may have been one of eBays awesome AI descriptions that it generates based on your title and some other factors...why he threw Army in the title is questionable of course...

So is the AI an option or can you still write your own item description?
